Polish Defense Minister says Russian air controllers deliberately caused crash of Kaczynski’s Tu-154 near Smolensk

The evidence proving the efforts of the Russian authorities and air controllers to make the plane carrying Polish President Kaczyński crash will be published this fall.

As reported by Censor.NET referring to Radio Poland, Polish Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz said in an interview with Rzeczpospolita.

According to the minister, the unpublished materials concerning the plane crash near Smolensk in 2010 that claimed lives of 96 people including then-President of Poland Lech Kaczynski will be disclosed in near future.

The official specified that he was talking about the new Tu-154 cockpit voice recording. According to Macierewicz, the recording proves that "the purpose of the actions of the Russian air controllers and authorities in Moscow was to cause a crash of the plane with President Kaczyński and the whole delegation on board."

"We now have strong evidence, including the one concealed by commission lead by Miller (the previous commission investigating the "Smolensk air crash"- Ed.). We have spine-chilling testimonies of the commission members," Macierewicz said.

According to him, the crash-related files will be made public in October.
