 Sixty percent of Ukrainians below poverty line, - UN

About 60 percent of Ukraine's population is currently living below the poverty line.

As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, this was said by United Nations Development Program Resident Representative in Ukraine Neal Walker as he presented the Human Development Report.

According to him, there are 1.7 million internally displaced persons and 2.8 million people with disabilities in Ukraine, while 60 percent of the country's population lives below poverty line.

Ukraine has dropped 3 points in UN Human Development Index. According to last year's results, Ukraine is ranked 84th in the list of 188 countries.
