The Russian-terrorist forces continue flagrantly violating the Minsk agreements by using heavy weapons. 35 attacks on Ukrainian servicemen have been recorded since the beginning of the day forcing them to suppress militants’ attacks by retaliation fire.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

"The strong points in Mariupol direction came under majority of the enemy attacks. The defenders of Pavlopil were fired at with 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns in the morning.

"The enemy started blanketing marines' positions in Shyrokyne and Vodiane with 122 mm artillery. Besides, the positions in the vicinity of Vodiane were attacked by the enemy snipers and shelled with tanks. The marines deployed in Shyrokyne were fired at with IFV weapons. Defenders of Hnutove were shelled with 120 mm mortars.

"The strongholds of Ukrainian soldiers on the outskirts of Avdiivka in Donetsk direction were attacked with 120 and 82 mm mortars, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The enemy fired at the defenders of Luhanske with IFV weapons, grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns.

"The Russian terrorist attacked the Ukrainian troops' positions on the outskirts of Verkhniotoretske with large-caliber machine guns while strong points near Novhorodske and Nevelske were shelled with grenade launchers of various systems.

"In Luhansk direction, positions near Novooleksandrivka were fired upon with large-caliber machine guns," the situation report reads.
