As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, President Petro Poroshenko said at a meeting of the Council for Judicial Reform.
"The key thing that I expect is confidence in the head of the Supreme Court, restoration of confidence in the judicial branch, public confidence... not that of masked bandits who come to judges and think they are free to render justice. We are talking about a country where the rule of law should prevail rather than mob rule," he said.
March 17, more than 10 masked people came to the house of Head of the High Council of Justice Ihor Benedysiuk. The official had to fire a warning shot into the air for self-defense.
