Hrytsak: SBU still checks information on Savchenko's instigation of riots among military

The Security Service chief said the SBU interviewed Nadiia Savchenko after she returned from the "Donetsk People's Republic."

The Security Service of Ukraine is verifying information about MP Nadiia Savchenko inciting Ukrainian soldiers to the acts of disobedience, Censor.NET reports quoting SBU Head Vasyl Hrytsak as saying on air of 112 Ukraine.

"The information about her intentions to incite servicemen of Ukraine's Armed Forces to the acts of disobedience and protests is being checked," Hrytsak said.

He added that the SBU had already questioned the lawmaker in connection with her visit to the terrorist-held territory in the Donbas.

"She refused to answer most of the questions asked by the investigator, referring to article 63 of the Constitution. Nevertheless she confirmed the reports in the media about her participation in firing drills along with members of illegal armed groups," Hrytsak said.

On Feb. 24, Petro Poroshenko Bloc MP Tetiana Rychkova, speaking in the parliament, said that Nadiia Savchenko incited the military in the Donbas to move out toward Kyiv to topple the government.
