"DPR" terrorists fired at OSCE observers recording militants’ SP guns deployed in disengagement area

Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine Alexander Hug says "DPR" militants started firing upon the observers recording SP guns deployed in the area supposed to be free of heavy weapons on March 3.

He told a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

According to Hug, several warning shots were made in the direction of SMM patrol in militants-occupied Khreshchatytske village last Friday, March 3 as they were recording two self-propelled guns deployed in violation of the agreement on weapons withdrawal.

The observer also said that the OSCE drone was presumably shot down with small arms in Yasynuvata on the same day when it was recording redeployment of heavy equipment.

According to Hug, the militants obstructed the OSCE mission's efforts to monitor the situation in the Donbas 22 times last week.
