 Russian militants shelled Ukraine’s positions from 152 mm artillery, mortars, tanks, IFV, - Staff

Over the past 24-hour period Russian militants committed 122 cases of fire upon the Ukraine’s Army positions in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in the east of Ukraine.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO Staff's press center on its Facebook page.

In Mariupol direction, militants shelled Vodiane and Lebedynske from tanks. The enemy artillery was firing upon Vodiane. Hnutove, Novotroitske, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Novohryhorivka, and Shyrokyne came under mortar, grenade launcher, antitank missile systems, and small arms fire. Mortars impacted Hnutove, Chermalyk, Talakivka, Pavlopil, and Vodiane. Enemy snipers were active in Berezove, Vodiane, and Shyrokyne area.

In Donetsk direction, militants shelled Avdivka, Maiorsk, Troitske, Verkhniotoretske, Novhorodske, and Pisky from mortars. Grenade launchers and small arms were used by the enemy to impact Pivnichne, Pisky, Zaitseve, Verkhniotoretske, Kamianka, and Nevelske. A sniper was operating in Kamianka area.

In Luhansk direction, militants employed 152 mm artillery to shell Krymske, mortars against Novooleksandrivka, Popasna, Novotoshkivske, Krymske, Troitske, Orikhove. Troitske, Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka, and Krymske came under grenade launcher fire.

On March 5, Russian militants committed 100 attacks upon the Ukraine's Army positions in the Donbas.
