 Air Liquide to leave Ukrainian market

Air Liquide is no longer able to continue its remaining activities in the Donets region as the 'DPR' established its administrative control over some Ukrainian companies (including Air Liquide Yenakiieve).

The world leader in gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquide is present in 80 countries with approximately 67,000 employees and serves more than three millions customers and patients. Oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen are essential small molecules for life, matter and energy. They embody Air Liquide's scientific territory and have been at the core of the company's activities since its creation in 1902.

Air Liquide has been present in Ukraine since 1992 through its Engineering and Construction activity. In 2011, Air Liquide started the production and selling of industrial gases. In the Donbas, Air Liquide owns an oxygen production unit dedicated to supply one steel customer. This activity is not significant given the size of the Group's activities in Europe.

"The security of our employees as well as compliance with applicable Ukrainian and international laws remain our priorities," said in Air Liquide.
