Censor.NET reports referring to the mission's weekly update.
"During the reporting week, the monitors observed two ambulances crossing the border between the Russian Federation and Ukraine and two funeral vans," the report says.
The first ambulance appeared at the Donetsk checkpoint on Feb. 27 crossing into Ukraine at 5:04 a.m. and returning to the Russian Federation at 7:36 a.m. that same morning. The ambulance had Russian Federation licence plates; the monitors were unable to confirm if there were patients inside.
The second ambulance was observed on Feb. 27 at the Gukovo checkpoint, crossing into Ukraine at 7:07 p.m. The monitors could not determine the type of licence plate due to limited visibility, or if any patients were inside.
