The Russian terrorist forces carried out 56 attacks on the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone on Feb. 27. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in action.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by ATO Staff press center.

"The invaders shelled Vodiane, Novotroitske and Pavlopil in Mariupol direction with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, employed grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms against Talakivka, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Novotroitske, Shyrokyne, and Hnutove.

"The occupants also fired upon Shyrokyne, Vodiane and Lebedynske with IFV weapons. Sniper attacks were recorded in Talakivka.

"In Donetsk direction, Avdiivka was repeatedly shelled with tanks. The invaders committed strikes on Troitske, Novoluhanske, Opytne, Avdiivka, Butivka mine, and Luhanske with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars.

"The Russian occupation forces opened fire upon Pisky, Zaitseve, Luhanske, Kamianka, and Troitske with grenade launchers and small arms.

"Lobachove village in Luhansk direction came under sniper fire," the situation report reads.
