The head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Oleksii Savchenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"Mykolaiv 79th Air Assault Brigade has lost two soldiers in recent days," he wrote.
According to Savchenko, one of the victims is Mykola Hutsalenko. Moreover, sergeant Yurii Ponomarenko who served in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone, died during a training at the Zhytomyr military ground on Feb. 24.
"I appeal to the heads of the cities, districts and villages, to the heads of regional state administrations. Lower the flags on all buildings. Cancel all entertainment events. Feb. 25 is the day of mourning in Mykolaiv region," Savchenko wrote.
