 Russian militants shelled Vodiane with Grads; 54 cases of fire recorded yesterday in Donbas, - Staff

Over the past 24-hour period, Russian mercenaries opened fire 54 times upon positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO Staff's press center on its Facebook page.

In Mariupol direction, militants used grad-P portable missile launchers, artillery of 122 mm caliber, and mortars of various calibers to shell Vodiane. Lebedynske and Shyrokyne came under mortar fire. Vodiane, Shyrokyne and Pavlopil came under fire from large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

In Donetsk direction, Russian troops fired mortars of various calibers upon Luhanske, Troitske, and Zaitseve. Avdiivka, Opytne, Pisky, Zaitseve and Luhanske came under grenade launcher and small arms fire. Luhanske was impacted with IFV weapon.

In Luhansk direction, 120 mm mortars and grenade launchers were employed upon Novozvanivka.

"A total of 54 cases of fire were recorded yesterday," the message reads.

On Feb. 21, militants violated the cease-fire in the Donbas 59 times by opening fire upon Ukraine's Army positions.
