330 judges involved in illegal sentencing of activists in 2014 stonewall cases into Maidan crackdown, – Heavenly Hundred’s Family NGO Head Bondarchuk

More than 300 judges who convicted the Euromaidan activists during the Revolution of Dignity continue holding their jobs and stonewalling the investigation of cases into the murder of the heroes of Heavenly Hundred.

Heavenly Hundred's Family NGO Head Volodymyr Bondarchuk told a correspondent for Censor.NET.

According to him, former Head of the Presidential Administration Andrii Portnov is also involved in stonewalling. The activist believes that Ukraine's judicial reform completion alone can speed up the investigation of the cases into the Maidan crackdown.

"The main issue is incomplete judiciary. The judges who unlawfully sentenced the Maidan activists continue occupying their posts. According to our information, it is about 330 judges. Some judges continue holding office and influencing the investigation even after being dismissed. They stonewall hearing of cases into murder of activists referred to the courts. We have information that Andrii Portnov also plays active part in this," Bondarchuk said.
