 Putin’s decision to recognize passports of 'DPR' and 'LPR' is another evidence of Russian occupation, - Poroshenko

Russia’s decision to recognize passports of the so-called 'Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics' ('DPR' and 'LPR') is another evidence of Russian occupation and violation of international law.

This was announced by President Poroshenko during the meeting with the U.S. Vice-President Mike Pence at the Munich Security Conference, Censor.NET reports citing the Presidential Administration.

At the meeting, the president informed VP Pence about the decision of Russian president Vladimir Putin.

"For me it is another evidence of Russian occupation and violation of international law. It is very symbolical and cynical that it happened during the Munich Security Conference," the head of state noted.
