As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Karl-Georg Wellmann, a CDU/CSU member of the Bundestag and the head of the German-Ukrainian inter-parliamentary group.
"The position of the German embassy is totally unacceptable. Holding elections with the Russian military in place is at odds with the official line of the German federal government or parliament," he said as translated from German.
"We must adhere to the Minsk agreements. This issue should be resolved by political means. Elections may be held only after that. Speaking of holding them before is out of question," the politician added.
Earlier, Reichel said in an interview that elections in the Donbas don't have to be held only when there are no Russian troops or when the Ukrainian flag is flying over each city council building.
