Roman Klimov from 72th Separate Mechanized Brigade will be buried in Mykolaiv on Monday, Feb. 6, Censor.NET reports citing ''Ostannia Shana'' Facebook.
Roman was killed in a battle in the vicinity of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region on Feb. 2, 2017.
Farewell ceremony will be held in Mykolaiv at 95 Tolstoho Str. at 11 a.m.
Senior soldier Roman Klimov (nickname ''Shtyk'') was born in the city of Mykolaiv on June 30, 1989.
He had a sniper diploma and participated in many competitions. Moreover, he was awarded with five prize rifles. Roman was a big fan of jogging and practiced it even at the frontline.
He worked as a turner at the Mykolaiv Machine-Building Plant. After he was mobilized in 2014, Roman has immediately signed up a contract for military service.
Roman was awarded with a "For the defense of Volnovakha" volunteer decoration as well as couple of the Defense Ministry's awards.
Roman Klimov was fighting in the vicinity of the Avdiivka industrial zone since October 2016. He was wounded but returned to the front line after treatment.
Roman has no wife and children.
