Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) detained a member of the “DPR” terrorist organization in the anti-terrorist operation area.

The militant with the call sign Sedmoi (the seventh - Ed.) originally hails from the city of Pokrovsk (formerly Krasnoarmiisk) in the Donetsk region. He was actively involved in combat operations against detachments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Censor.NET reports citing the SBU press center.

The law enforcers detained him as he was trying to infiltrate into the government-controlled territory to solve private issues.

The law enforcement officers found on him flash drives with pictures and videos proving his participation in terrorists' offensive operations against the Ukrainian Armed Forces and war decorations granted to him by the terrorist leaders.

The detainee will be served notice of suspicion of committing an offense under part 1 of article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation is underway.
