 Moscow hardly expects pro-Russian line of Trump administration, - Russian Foreign Ministry

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in an interview with Russia 24 that Moscow does not expect that the new U.S. administration will be pro-Russian.

"We never expect a friendly partner or partners who will pursue some pro-Russian line, because it is naive, it is not a serious talk," she said.

The diplomat added no one expects pro-Russian leaders, ministers, or managers.

"Everyone is awaiting a pragmatic approach to solving common problems," Zakharova stressed.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Moscow has no illusions about the possibility of a new reset of relations with the United States.
