As reported by Censor.NET citing local police authorities, five participants of the conflict were served notices of suspicion of committing criminal offenses. Four of them were placed in pre-trial detention, and a house arrest was imposed on the fifth offender.
More than 30 people involved in the conflict on both sides have been established. Some of them were placed on the national wanted list.
"All those involved in murder and infliction of serious bodily injuries will be held accountable since both sides took part in the skirmish and both locals and out-of-towners sustained injuries," Zhytomyr region police Chief Viacheslav Pechenenko said.
As reported, seven persons were wounded in the armed conflict in Olevsk on Jan. 16, 2017, including four Olevsk district residents, two residents of Lviv, and a resident of the Kyiv region, who died on the scene while receiving first aid.
