 Four Ukrainian soldiers wounded in 41 attacks committed by Russian militants over past day, - Staff

The Russian occupation forces attacked Ukrainian troop’s positions in the anti-terrorist operation area 41 times over the past 24-hour period. Four Ukrainian military were wounded.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center as of Jan. 22, 2017.

According to the Staff, the invaders fired upon the ATO forces' positions on the outskirts of Talakivka, Lebedynske, Marinka, Hnutove, Pavlopil, Chermalyk, Shyrokyne and Vodiane in Mariupol direction with large caliber machine guns and small arms yesterday. The enemy snipers committed attacks in Marinka, Novotroitske and Krasnohorivka.

In Luhansk direction, the militants employed grenade launchers and small arms against Valuiske, Krymske, Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka and Stanytsia Luhanska.

The Russian occupation troops shelled Pisky village in Donetsk direction with 120 mm mortars. Sniper attacks were also recorded in this village. Novhorodske, Luhanske, Avdiivka and Zaitseve were fired upon with grenade launchers and small arms.

"A total of 41 attacks were recorded yesterday. Four our soldiers were wounded," the situation report reads.

Earlier, the Russian terrorist forces conducted 33 assaults in the anti-terrorist operation zone on Jan. 21.
