Petro Poroshenko said he would do everything to prevent destabilization of the situation in the country. He announced it during the celebrations of the Day of Unity of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports citing 112 TV Channel.
"As president, I will oppose by all available legal means any attempts to destabilize the country and destroy all primary results which the Ukrainian government gained and Ukrainian people achieved," he said.
According to the president, some politicians in Kyiv and Moscow are working on the organization of "artificial protests and early parliamentary elections'' in Ukraine.
"We started implementing reforms in 2014. In 2016, those changes became visible and were appreciated by people and by our foreign partners," Poroshenko said.
