 Court extends custody for Naftohaz ex-deputy CEO Katsuba until March 17

Court has extended the arrest of former deputy CEO of Naftohaz Ukrainy NJSC Oleksandr Katsuba until March 17 with bail established at 450 million hryvnia ($15.732 million).

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by defendant's lawyer Yurii Ivashchenko to Ukrainski Novyny.

"The court considered this question... the restraint measure has been extended for two months," he said.

According to Ivashchenko, both the defense and the suspect continue to familiarize themselves with the case materials.

The Prosecutor General's Office claims readiness of the Naftohaz ex-deputy CEO to cooperate with the investigation.

On Oct. 21, the PGO completed a probe in a criminal proceeding against Katsuba.

He was detained on June, 17 and arrested a bit further with bail established at 450 million hryvnia.
