 "DPR" member shoots his neighbor dead, commits suicide after wounding two policemen on a Moscow playground

A 26-year-old alleged member of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” terrorist organization murdered his neighbor in Moscow’s south-east area and fled the scene.

Censor.NET reports citing a statement by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"The police made an attempt to apprehend a possible suspect who showed resistance and made several shots at members of the extra-departmental guards. The suspect subsequently committed suicide. Two law enforcers were injured in the attack," the report of the Investigative Committee reads.

Meanwhile, REN.TV reported that the person was a member of the "DPR" terrorist organization.

"The man who killed his neighbor in the south-east are of Moscow and attacked the law enforcement officers reportedly took part in combat operations in the Donbas," the TV channel said.

According to journalists, the person's name was Sergey. He spent five months with the militants in Ukraine's east. He was reportedly a combatant first, and later became an instructor.
