In December 2016, inflation stood at 0.9 percent.

Prices on food and nonalcoholic beverages rose by 1.6 percent (3.3 percent during 2016), clothing and footwear - decreased by 2.8 percent (increased by 5.5 percent during 2016), housing and utilities - stayed unchanged (increased by 47.2 percent during 2016), healthcare - grew by 0.2 percent (7.8 percent during 2016), education - increased by 0.1 percent (13.7 percent during 2016).

Consumer prices increased by 12.4 percent in December 2016 compared with December 2015.

In November 2016, consumer price inflation stood at 1.8 percent while the overall January-November inflation rate equaled to 11.4 percent.
