Defense Ministry spokesperson on anti-terrorist operation (ATO) matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk said at a daily briefing, Censor.NET reports.
"Over past day, no Ukrainian soldier died in combat, one was wounded. The incident occurred near the village of Novozvanivka," he said.
According to Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, 10,000 Ukrainians have been killed and more than 20,000 wounded since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in the Donbas in 2014. As reported by the U.N., the total death toll of the conflict in Ukraine from mid-April 2014 to Dec.1, 2016 is 9,758, with another 22,779 people wounded.
