Two servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed by reckless handling of weaponry in a military base near Marinka yesterday, Jan. 2. Two more soldiers were injured in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area.

Censor.NET reports citing the casualty report by the ATO Staff press center.

The report reads: "Two soldiers were killed as a result of reckless handling of weaponry in a military unit located in the ATO area in the vicinity of Marinka Jan. 2, 2017. Two more soldiers were injured.

"The circumstances of the accident are being investigated," the statement reads.
