 Ukraine enters 2017 with 12 billion cubic meters of gas in its storage, - Ukrtranshaz

The volume of gas in underground storage of Ukraine was 11,992.95 million cubic meters as of Jan. 1, 2017.

Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine referring to Ukrtranshaz data.

Since the heating season took off in Ukraine on Oct. 13, 2016, the volume of underground storage of gas decreased by 18.6 percent or 2,739.08 million cubic meters of gas.

Existing storage volume is by 14.3 percent lower than in 2016, but by 4.6 higher than in 2015.

In December, 1,568.64 million cubic meters of gas were used from the storage (50.6 million cubic meters per day), in November - 909.42 million cubic meters (30.31 million cubic meters daily).
