 Russian militants attacked ATO forces 44 times yesterday, used 122 mm artillery, large-caliber mortars, AA guns, APC, - Staff

The Russian terrorist forces continue assaulting Ukrainian troops in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area despite agreed truce.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center as of Dec. 27, 2016.

According to the Staff, in Mariupol direction, the militants employed 122 mm artillery against Shyrokyne; 120 and 82 mm mortars - against Vodiane and Shyrokyne; grenade launchers and small arms - against Talakivka, Vodiane, Marinka, Pavlopil and Shyrokyne. The enemy sniper was also committing attacks in Shyrokyne.

Novhorodske, Luhanske and Avdiivka in Donetsk direction came under strikes with 120 and 82 mm mortars. The militants fired upon Travneve, Luhanske, Zaitseve, Nevelske and Myronivske with grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns. Pivdenne village was attacked with anti-aircraft guns.

The invaders employed APC weapons, grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns against Novooleksandrivka and Novozvanivka in Luhansk direction.

"A total of 44 attacks were recorded over the past 24-hour period," the report reads.

As reported, Dec. 26, the militants carried out 37 attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions using tanks, 122 mm artillery and infantry fighting vehicles.
