 Russian militants committed 33 attacks yesterday, used 122 mm artillery, mortars, IFV guns, - Staff

The Russian occupation forces continue blatantly violating the Minsk agreements by using heavy weapons against the Ukrainian troops.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

According to the Staff, the militants shelled Lebedynske village with 122-mm artillery, Shyrokyne, Talakivka and Vodiane - with 82 mm mortars in Mariupol direction yesterday. Grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms were employed against Starohnativka, Shyrokyne and Pavlopil. Sniper attacks were recorded in Novotroitske.

The militants fired upon Luhanske, Artemove, Novhorodske and Verkhniotoretske in Donetsk direction with 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and IFV weapons. Zaitseve came under fire with small arms.

The occupants attacked Stanytsia Luhanska and Novozvanivka in Luhansk direction using grenade launchers and small arms.

According to the ATO Staff press center, 33 attacks were committed against the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past 24-hour period.

As reported, three terrorists' assault teams up to five men strong each attempted to force Ukrainian detachments out of their positions at the Svitlodarsk salient following heavy mortar strike at 10:30 a. m. Dec. 20.
