 Ukrainian units came under Russian fire 24 times yesterday; militants employed 122 mm artillery, mortars, and IFV weapon, - Staff

Over the past 24-hour period, pro-Russian militants continued shelling the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces of Ukraine in all directions.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO Staff in a report as of Dec. 21, 2016 posted on Facebook.

According to the Staff, in Mariupol direction, militants fired 122 mm artillery upon Novohryhorivka. Krasnohorivka and Pavlopil came under mortar fire. Talakivka, Shyrokyne and Marinka were impacted by grenade launcher, large-caliber machine gun and small arms fire. An IFV weapon was employed by the enemy in Talakivka area.

In Luhansk direction, Russian occupation troops were spraying Zolote, Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka, and Stanytsia Luhanska from grenade launchers. A sniper was operating near Stanytsia Luhanska.

In Donetsk direction, Russian invaders used 122 mm artillery, 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, and small arms to fire multiple times upon positions of the ATO forces near Luhanske, Novhorodske, and Avdiivka.

"The total of 24 cases of fire were registered over the past 24-hour period," the report reads.

On Dec. 20, pro-Russian militants opened fire 33 times upon ATO forces' positions.
