 Turchynov, Federal State Secretary Fritsche discuss possibility of joint security projects

Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov and Federal Secretary of State of Germany Klaus-Dieter Fritsche met on Wednesday to discuss the situation in the Donbas and security situation in Europe.

"The sides talked the situation in eastern Ukraine, including the armed provocations and repeated violations of the Minsk agreements by Russian-terrorist groups as well as the security situation in Europe," the statement reads.

Turchynov and Fritsche also discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in the security and defense sector and the possibility of implementing joint security projects.

A particular attention was paid to systematic cooperation between the two states to counter Russia's hybrid war against Ukraine and Europe.
