 Pro-Russian militants opened fire 45 times yesterday, employed 120 mm and 82 mm mortars against Ukrainian Army, - Staff

Over the past 24-hour period, Russian occupation troops opened fire 45 times upon the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff in its report as of Dec. 6.

According to the Staff, pro-Russian militants in Donetsk direction were shelling Avdiivka, Luhanske and Svitlodarsk from mortars, grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns. Sniper operated in Luhanske village area.

In Luhansk direction, Russian occupation troops employed 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and anti-aircraft missile systems against Krymske, Novozvanivka, Novooleksandrivka and Stanytsia Luhanska. Katerynivka came under small arms fire.

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used 120 mm and 82 mm mortars to impact Shyrokyne, Chermalyk, Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Talakivka and Vodiane. Grenade launchers, IFV weapon, and small arms were employed against Novotroitske, Starohnativka, Shyrokyne, Hnutove and Pavlopil.

Checkpoint Marinka came under automated grenade launchers fire.

Earlier, the enemy concentrated its provocative efforts in Mariupol and Donetsk directions on Dec. 5 and committed 26 cease-fire violations.
