Poroshenko at Horlivka checkpoint in Donbas: "I am proud that we have created Armed Forces that have grown most powerful in Europe". VIDEO

President Petro Poroshenko has visited Ukraine's Armed Forces fighters at a checkpoint located one kilometer from the occupied city of Horlivka, the Donetsk region.

As reported by Censor.NET, the president greeted the fighters with the 25th anniversary of Ukrainian Armed Forces' creation and thanked volunteers for aiding the army of Ukraine.

"I am so proud we have created the Armed Forces that have grown the most powerful in Europe. And I am proud of these Armed Forces together with the Ukrainian people. I am so pleased that the army is as trusted by the people as the church. I am so pleased that we have gone this way over the two years from volunteers who were only supported by civil volunteers to the army that has become a pride of the country," Poroshenko said addressing the soldiers.
