 Four Ukrainian soldiers wounded in Luhansk region enemy shelling, - state administration

Over the past 24-hour period, the enemy opened fire upon positions of the Ukrainian military 11 times.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the press service of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration.

The administration said pro-Russian militants employed 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, anti-aircraft mounts, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms in direction of Krymske village of Novoaidar district. As a result of shelling, four Ukrainian fighters were injured and delivered to a hospital.

Grenade launchers of various types, armored vehicles, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms were used to fire at anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces' defenses near Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka of Popasna district. Ukrainian defenses near Stanytsia Luhanska, which is a designated area of troops and hardware disengagement, Russian terrorist units opened fire from grenade launchers of various types. An enemy sniper was operating in the area as well.

"Militants' endless shelling ruins infrastructure, residential houses, and positions of Ukrainian fighters. We will restore the housing and utilities of the region, but lives and health of our guys who defend the state sovereignty and independence of Ukraine are of the highest value for us," deputy head of the Luhansk regional administration Yurii Klymenko stressed.

As reported, militants shelled Ukrainian Army positions 38 times yesterday, used mortars, IFVs and anti-aircraft mounts.
