Stryzhevska informed the European representatives on current state of the reform of Ukraine's prosecution and recent legislative amendments, including those to the Constitution of Ukraine, that have altered the way the prosecutorial functions are performed.
She also announced the introduction of secret annual checks of prosecution employees so as to compare the way of living with the legal sources of income entered in their declarations.
Moreover, a competition for the posts in the General Inspectorate - an independent and professional institution intended to oversee the legality of prosecutors' actions - has been launched, according to the deputy prosecutor general.
The PACE representatives received exhaustive replies to a number of questions related to the monitoring of implementation of Ukraine's commitments to the Council of Europe.
"Following the results of the meeting, the sides expressed confidence in building further cooperation based on the principles of transparency and openness," the statement reads.
