According to her, at 4:13 a.m., unknown people threw an incendiary flare at the window of her bedroom.
As the MP wrote on her Facebook page, a glass jar with incendiary was thrown at the bedroom window, where the couple and their 3-month old son were sleeping: "The flames went up to the second floor. Thank God, I woke up after dogs started barking... Everyone is safe and sound... But my state is really hard to describe... Our car and the house were close to go off. A persistent smell of some flammable liquid is hanging in the air."
Commenting on the incident to 112 Ukraine, Voitsitska noted she woke up after a specific bang sound and glow: "I ran outside and saw a bush burning and flames spilling over the car. This is called an attempt on my life and my family."
Voitsitska does not exclude the possibility that the incident may be related to her political activities.
"I do not know who is behind all this. At the moment, I'm fighting corruption in the energy sector, and there are a lot influential people in this sphere," she said.
Moreover, the MP said she had recently hacked an attempt to smuggle a corruption scheme into the parliament.
Earlier, Voitsitska said the Prosecutor General's Office had failed to respond to her statement on possible elements of a crime connected with the withdrawal of money from regional power distribution companies with the help of straw men.
