Russian court bans relatives, Ukrainian doctors, and consuls from visiting Savchenko until March 21, - lawyers

Donetsk city court of the Rostov region has refused to issue permits for relatives and Ukrainian doctors to visit Nadiia Savchenko.

Savchenko's lawyer Mark Feigin wrote on Twitter, Censor.NET reports.

"Well, the doctors have not been authorized to visit Savchenko. Her sister and mother have been denied permission too!" he wrote.

He added that he will visit Savchenko in jail tomorrow: "As a lawyer, I do not require permission to visit the defendant."

In addition, another Savchenko's lawyer Nikolai Polozov wrote on Twitter that the Donetsk city court of the Rostov region was not going to issue visiting permits until March 21.

"Ukraine's consuls have also been denied permission to pay pre-sentence visits to Nadiia Savchenko!" Polozov added.

As previously reported, Savchenko's defense declared Ukrainian doctors' non-admission to the territory of Russia in the morning of March 9.
