 Kyiv and Brussels reach compromise on visa-free laws, - EU Delegation to Ukraine press officer

The representatives of the European Union and Ukrainian politicians have stricken a compromise on the adoption of laws required for the introduction of a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU.

EU Delegation to Ukraine Press Officer David Stulik stated, Censor.NET reports citing Hromadske.TV.

"I can reveal a little secret that this week, our lawyers, our experts have reached a compromise with the Ukrainian colleagues on the disputed issues regarding the e-declaration, the list of the first-degree relatives, the base, according to which the officials will be obliged to file these declarations. Therefore this compromise is more or less ready. Let's see the actions of the parliament," Stulik said.

According to him, the European Union has also voiced specific conditions that are necessary for the liberalization of relations with Ukraine.

"Our experts have specified the conditions and parameters of this decision or law that will suit us and the actions that will make us consider it fulfilled," he said.
