 Militants fired at ATO forces' positions from mortars, grenade launchers, and heavy machine guns for 19 times, – ATO Staff

The pro-Russian militants continued to attack strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the day. It was reported about 19 attacks of the terrorist as of 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Censor.NET reports citing the Facebook of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff.

"The Army's positions at Chermalyk were shelled by the terrorists with 82-mm mortars. About ten shells were fired. The militants fired at Opytne, Marinka, Luhanske checkpoints from grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Militants' snipers were spotted near Ukrainian positions at Marinka, Pisky, and Novhorodske. Opytne checkpoint was shelled with 82-mm mortars twice," the statement reads.

Ukrainian servicemen, however, strictly observe the Minsk agreements, firing only from allowed weapons.

"Blaming Ukrainian army for war crimes of the militants is a hallmark of Russian propaganda machine," the staff noted.
