"We expect visa-free regime with EU. Ukraine meets all criteria," - Yatseniuk

Ukraine expects the EU to grant it a visa-free regime and is pleased with EU's relevant report.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk said in Kyiv at a meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Foreign Minister of France Jean-Marc Ayrault, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"We expect the EU to grant Ukraine a visa-free regime. And the latest report clearly demonstrates that Ukraine already meets all the necessary criteria in order to obtain this regime. We are very satisfied with this interim result," Yatseniuk said.

He noted that Ukraine also continues to create free trade areas with other countries, which is of particular importance in the context of the sanctions imposed against Russia.

The prime minister urged the Europeans to unite, as this is the only way to confront the Russian Federation: "I believe that only by preserving our unity, we will manage to resist Russia's aggression. We need to act on a large scale in order to curb Russia's actions. Unity is the key for us."
