Rada adopts "visa-free" law on activities of National Agency to trace and manage corrupt assets

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted in the second reading and as a whole the bill No.4056 from the "visa-free" package. The bill stipulates for amending the Law of Ukraine "on the National Agency of Ukraine detecting, investigating and managing the assets, obtained through corrupt practices and other crimes."

261 MP's have voted for the decision, Censor.NET correspondent informs.

It should be reminded that the bill is aimed to authorize the National Agency not only to preserve the assets seized under criminal proceedings, but also manage them, including the right to sell, process, or outsource the assets confiscated under criminal proceedings.
