"Today, Feb. 12, at 11:35 a.m., while the working group was inspecting a site for future checkpoint in Zolote village, which is stipulated by the Minsk agreements, a Ukrainian army strong point came under 120-mm mortar fire by terrorists. According to preliminary information, one soldier was wounded," the report says.
As noted, the strong point was shelled immediately after the OSCE mission left for the site.
"In this regard, we have suspended opening the checkpoint for an indefinite period. The security of residents on both sides of the demarcation line is priority," Luhansk governor Heorhii Tuka said.
