Negotiations with Right Sector on the conflict in Mukacheve dragged on - Herashchenko

Negotiations with the members of the Right Sector, who took part in Saturday's shootout in Mukacheve (the Transcarpathian region), to lay down arms and surrender have dragged on.

Adviser to the Interior Minister, MP Anton Herashchenko announced, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"The negotiations started the same day when the conflict took place. I was contacted with by the leader of the Right Sector. I spoke to Dmytro Yarosh just regarding this issue to be solved peacefully by surrender of arms. The negotiations are currently dragged on just because the leadership of the Right Sector cannot decide what to do in this particular situation. The only legitimate and adequate solution is to lay down arms and become subject to investigation," Herashchenko told reporters in Odesa Monday morning.
